M.anifest, the son of Tsatsu Tsikata , lawyer for the ruling National Democratic Congress in the ongoing election petition hearing at the Ghana Supreme Court, on Sunday walked away with two awards at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2013. M.anifest, after a spectacular performance with Hi-life legend Amandezeba on the night, swept the “Best Rapper of the Year” and the “Hip-Hop Song of the Year” awards. Tsatsu Tsikata Jr. as many have decided to call him, was born Kwame Ametepee Tsikata on November 20, 1982. He had his basic education at the University of Ghana Primary School, then moved to the Twin Cities (Minneapolis-St Paul) in 2001 to attend Macalester College where he graduated in 2005 with a BA in economics. He is a famous Ghanaian rapper and songwriter who is eventually going up the ladder in the music industry. Justin Bieber in South Africa More than 1 million Rand was pinched after his gig in Johannesburg... Takings from Justin Bieber's concert in South Africa have been stolen by a gang of thieves. BBC Newsbeat reports that the criminals pinched more than 1 million rand (£70,000) from Johannesburg's Soccer City stadium - using rope, chisels and hammers for the break in. They are thought to have targeted cash made by JB from his shows at the venue, and apparently spent several hours chiselling through the walls of the stadium to make their entrance. A officer told the BBC: "The money was taken from the building and they only realised today. We don't know how many people were involved as we are still gathering evidence." South African police spokesperson Katlego Mogale added: "The suspect had gained entry through the roof.
